Accessing bug reports in the tracking system logs

Each message received at or sent by the bug processing system is logged
and made available in a number of ways.

The primary copy of the logs is on the World Wide Web at
http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/users/iwj10/debian-bugs/ and is mirrored at
http://www.cps.cmich.edu/~streeter/debian-bugs/ .

Both plain-text and HTML versions are available by FTP from
ftp.cps.cmich.edu in /pub/debian/debian-bugs/ .

Bug reports are kept until the relevant bug is marked as `done' and no
messages have been received about it for 14 days. Messages sent to
debian-bugs-done which didn't have the special Subject line tag are kept
for two or three weeks.

A mailserver is available. Here are the instructions:

This is the help for Carl's Debian Buglist mail interface.
     Send a message to streeter@debian.cps.cmich.edu.
     The message body is ignored.
Put your command in the subject field. Valid commands are:

     help

send access Sends the full instructions on

reports via mail, WWW, and ftp.

     send index
send outstanding Sends the full list of outstanding bug
     reports.

     interface.

     a bug.

     send ###
     send bug ###
send bug### Send the numbered bug report
     requested.

Be careful, as anything unrecognized that doesn't begin with
"send" will end up in my inbox.

Please send all comments, corrections, better usage messages,
bug reports (bugs on the bug reporter?), and other stuff
     to Carl Streeter <streeter@debian.cps.cmich.edu>.
