Subject: trn has no way to override server's default subscription list

Package: trn
Version: 3.6-1

The `newsetup' command, which trn runs to set up a new .newsrc, always
queries the NNTP server with a `LIST subscriptions' command; if the
news server does not respond helpfully it uses a built-in list of just
`news.announce.newusers'.

IMO it should use /etc/news/subscriptions instead of querying the
server, if it exists.

Ian.
