Subject: xcompR6 recommends xxgdbR6
Precedence: air-mail

Package: xcompR6
Version: 3.1.1-1

In xcompR6's control file:
 Package: xcompR6
Description: This package has all the stuff needed to compile programs
for X1R6.
 Recommended: xxgdbR6

This should be Optional, if anything; definitely not Recommended.
Recommended makes it hard for a user to select one without the other.

I'd be inclined to say that if the user wants a graphical debugger
they will know it and go and find one, and that mentioning xxgdb in
the control file is pointless. However, an Optional field is not very
intrusive and is livable with. A Recommended field is not.

Ian.
