Subject: dpkg references a non-existent README file
Date: Fri, 23 Jun 1995 09:37:40 -0400
From: "Susan G. Kleinmann" <sgk@sgk.tiac.net>

Package: dpkg
Version: 0.93.42.3
--------
I believe an incorrect message is sent out when one uses the command:
    dpkg --unpack --no-also-select sendmail-8.6.10-5.deb

dpkg prints out a message encouraging the user to edit his configuration
(CF) files with the following text:
"The file README_CF.gz, located in /usr/doc/sendmail,
contains information on editing these files."

No such file exists in the /usr/doc/sendmail directory.

Perhaps this should have been "/usr/src/sendmail.cf/cf/README".

I am using dpkg 0.93.42.3, Debian version 0.93R5, kernel version 1.2.10,
and libc.so.4.6.27.
