Subject: xs3 removed /etc/X11/X, no configuration, no client dependency

Package: xs3
Version: 3.1.1-3

I installed xs3-3.1.1-3.deb using dpkg. All appeared to go well.
When I tried to restart xdm to use the new X server I found that the
/etc/X11/X link had disappeared.

I was previously using Helmut's 3.1.1-1 version, so the bug may lie
there. The xs3 package doesn't appear to have any maintainer scripts.

I also notice that the xs3 package does not Depend on anything that
would configure it and doesn't have any configuration itself, nor does
it Recommend any clients be installed. I assume that the former is
waiting for virtual package support in dpkg, but the latter should be
fixed straight away (as dpkg doesn't look at Recommends and dselect
already supports virtual packages).

Ian.
