To reproduce:
Start an emacs, running info (say, by typing `emacs -f info').
Select the fileutils info file, by typing
m f i l e SPC u SPC RET
Go back to the main directory, with
u
Try to get back to the fileutils, with
l
I get the message
gunzip [somethingorother that looks plausible]
and then the error
No such node: Top
