Subject: `image' bootdisk creation gets root device wrong

Package: image
Version: 1.2.1-1

The image package said:
 Setting up image ...

In order to use the new kernel image you have just installed, you
will need to reboot the machine. First, however, you will need to
either make a bootable floppy diskette or re-run LILO. Do you want
 to do that now (y/n)? y y
Please insert a floppy diskette into your boot drive and press <RETURN>:

 Creating a bootdisk...

 Done.

Now you may reboot your system from the floppy diskette.

However, despite the fact that I was running with /dev/sdb1 mounted as
my root filesystem, and that /dev/sda1 is the active partition on the
boot drive, the floppy it created was configured to mount /dev/hda3 as
the root !

Ian.
