Subject: X packages' description fields are poor
Precedence: air-mail

Package: xsvga and others
Version: 3.1.1-1

The X server packages have Description fields like:
Description: The XFree86 server supporting SVGA chipsets

IMO this is profoundly unhelpful to the new user. X is a complicated
set of packages, and the Description lines should explain to the user
which of the myriad of packages involved sie needs.

See my recent posting for details of how to lay out the Description:
field in order to get a desired effect.

Ian.
