Subject: CD Players?

I have my GUS connected to my Toshiba CD drive via the audio cable. But
since I have version 3.4 card, I obviously cannot control volume by
software. But does any version of the 16-bit add on card have a mixer in
it? If possible, (if Gravis has one, or if not they better do it for us
pre 3.7 owners!) I would like a 16-bit add on card that adds the hardware
mixer to card version 3.4 and lower.

Another CD related question: Does anyone know of any good TSR CD player
for ftp acquisition?
I had one for a Future Domain SCSI card, but now that I have it changed
to an Adaptec, I'd like one that works with it, as the Adaptec software
doesn't have a TSR CD program. Thanks.

OK, I tried to do this cute and polite, but it didn't work.
IF ANY GRAVISOID IS READING THIS - 2 PEOPLE ARE WAITING FOR A REPLY FROM
SALES@GRAVIS.COM - BOTH WANT TO BUY UMAXES!
This is NOT how you do business. Alex is logged in right now and he sounds
violent - he wants a GUS because he heard mine, and I think he'll just kill me
and take mine if he won't get one fast.
Here's his fax:
Alex Eisler, c/o Michal Eisler, ++972-8-492194.
The other one, Michel, is waiting too.
IF YOU WANT TO SELL ANYTHING, YOU'D BETTER PUT SOMEBODY TO TAKE ORDERS, FOR
GOD'S SAKE!

This may be a silly question, but I can't seem to get ahold of the 3.53
GUS disks.

I have looked in:
	archive.orst.edu in /pub/packages/gravis and
	wuarchive.wustl.edu in /systems/ibmpc/ultrasound
	and on epas.

Epas had the first one or two files, and the other sites had more of the
files, but the last few (d, e, f) looked to be in error since the file
sizes looked too small.

Any help appreciated!

Hey while I'm posting a message, who knows how much the 16 bit DB costs,
and where to get one. I've haven't seen it at my local COMPUTABILITY mail
order place. I might upgrade to the MAX if it isn't too cost effective
to go with the DB.
