Hi GUS lovers,
I haven't had a chance to check the digest for awhile. I don't have the time to read all the back issues, and I was just wondering if someone could
tell me of the major releases I missed (I have the gus0040.zip), i would
apprecaite it.

Dave

I'd like to apologize for MS... They're passing a survey around, asking people
what they'd like the site to look like (you should fill it out too - softlib/
survey.txt), and it seems they're grouping the files under some logical hier-
archy now. Anyway, here's a log:

after much heartache, I found it as 'wv1019.exe'

it works great under win 3.1 and win-os2 (no sound though, till os/2 2.2) :)

This is to clarify the confusion. The filename is VFW11A.EXE in
CAPITAL letters. I got it from epas under that filename. It corrected
my jerky AVI problem and everything works just fine.

Hi! I've seen that some of you guys are buying other cards to compare them with
the GUS. Why don't you try making GUS patches from the best patches of those
cards? Michael said that the brass, guitar and piano patches are better in
the AWE, maybe you can create some patches of those for the GUS.

Anyone who runs X-Wing with Mega-em (the one that came in the 3.1
UltraSound Install disks) probably notices that really annoying
high-pitched whine when the good-guys ships fly by in the cinematic
scenes. Does anyone have a patch for this (a MIDI patch I can replace in
the GM set) or in a different context, a game patch to update files,
besides the useless xwingpat.zip for FM cards?

Peter
