	DRAM10B.ARJ has been posted on wuarchive.wustl.edu pub/MSDOS_UPLOADS
and EPAS (128.100.160.36) pub/pc/ultrasound/submit.

	This is a Dram testing program for the Gravis Ultrasound. This is
only a Beta Test version. If anyone wishes to help test it, they would be
greatly appreciated.

Yes, it is because you are running out of memory on the card for the
patches.  Upgrade to 1Meg and you should never see a -7 error again.
At least, I haven't yet.  (1Meg is enough to hold about 40 instruments,
since the 130 patches in my MIDI directory takes up about 2.7 Megs.)

I have 1 Meg on my card and running ultrinit after uninstalling SBOS
lets me start up Windows without any problems.  Note that I don't
reboot as you do after running ultrinit.  Running playmidi after removing
SBOS seems to work just as well.
