For any of you who didn't read the last message, or completely
neglected to look at the header of this digest, the new addresses are
installed. You now can stop using that "%itchy" thing in ALL of the
addresses.

Not only can you stop doing this, you SHOULD stop doing this.
If you use the old addresses from now on, I'll be forced to cancel
your subscription to the digest and make you use an old AdLib card for
the rest of Eternity. So nyeah nyeah nyeah.

Also, could someone please post this good news to... er, news?
I'm currently at war with my news reader (yep, all my I/O with the net
is currently going to hell in a handbasket), but I'm sure the
comp.sys.ibm.pc.soundcard readers would like to know about this. If
you could mention something about getting in touch with the "owner"
list if they have trouble with the server, I'd appreciate that as
well.

	Thanks!

(Ya know, I think I use the word "folks" WAY too much.)

I got a Heap O' Messages today from people complaining because
they didn't receive a digest. Will it make any of you feel better if
you know that I didn't get one either? To make matters worse, there
was SUPPOSED to be one (with quite a lot of good articles, I might
add), but in the process of getting everything set for the new
addresses, the digest maker digested the digest, then barfed.

So, to make a long story as verbose as possible, last night's
digest ain't coming. If you are one of the people who posted to that
digest, please repost to it. I'm very sorry about this, but please
keep in mind I was trying to help out!

In any case, what's done is done. The digest is alive, long
live the digest.

I received another hint from Gravis on what we can do to solve problems
we may have. Here it is below.....
___________________________________________________________________

Re: my previous reply to your bug list - did any of this help?
One thing I may not have mentioned is that V1.1 of the software
SETUP.EXE may not have installed the line
'c:\ultrasnd\ultrinit.exe' into your autoexec.bat. If it doesn't,
you need to put this in manually after the 'set Ultrasnd=' line.
___________________________________________________________________

For more info on what ultrinit.exe does, run README.BAT.
And no, our installation software didn't put this line in our
autoexec.bat file.

I haven't had much problems with my Ultrasound card so I can't tell if
it did fix anything. But for those of you who are having problems, try
this and see what happens. Let us (or at least me) know how it works
out!

Thomas.
